TaxPayer Sistemas
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 June 2026
TaxPayer Sistemas ("TaxPayer", "we", "us") is a consultancy specialising in information systems development. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect the personal data of visitors, clients and users of our websites, applications and services, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 — GDPR).
1. Data controller
The controller responsible for processing your data is TaxPayer Sistemas. For any privacy-related matter, please contact us at privacy@taxpayer.ie.
2. Data we collect
- Data you provide: name, email, phone number and company, when you contact us, request a proposal or create/access an account in our systems.
- Social login: when you choose to sign in with Facebook or Google, we receive your name and email address (and profile picture, where available) from the provider, according to the permissions you authorise.
- Data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited and date/time of access.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and provide our consultancy and support services;
- To authenticate and manage your access to our systems;
- To improve our websites, applications and services;
- To send marketing communications only with your prior consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Legal basis and consent
We process personal data under the lawful bases set out in the GDPR, as applicable: your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests.
Where processing relies on your consent (for example, marketing or analytics cookies), we will ask for it clearly, and you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
5. Social login (Facebook and Google)
When you choose to sign in with Facebook or Google, we use the data received from the provider solely to create and authenticate your account in our systems. We do not post anything on your behalf and we do not access your contact list. You may revoke this access at any time in the app settings of the relevant provider.
6. Cookies and usage analytics
We use cookies to improve your browsing experience and, with your consent, analytics tools (Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used. No analytics tool is loaded before you accept the use of cookies in the banner shown on the site.
7. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers (for example, cloud hosting, email and usage analytics) strictly to the extent necessary to operate our sites and services, and with public authorities where required by law or to protect our rights. These providers have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
8. International data transfers
Part of our infrastructure and some of our service providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. Where this is the case, we put in place appropriate safeguards as required by the GDPR to ensure your data remains protected.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data; to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data; to erasure ("right to be forgotten"); to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@taxpayer.ie. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
10. Data deletion
If you wish to delete your data from our platform, send an email to data-removal@taxpayer.ie requesting permanent deletion. The data held in our systems will first be extracted, sent to you by email and then permanently removed from our systems.
The process takes up to 15 days, and may extend to 30 days in cases where the data search is more complex. All steps and the completion deadline will be communicated by email.
Data deletion is PERMANENT and IRREVERSIBLE. Once requested and confirmed, there is no subsequent way to recover the data that has been removed.
11. Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by a legal or regulatory obligation. After that period, the data is securely deleted.
12. Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures and follow industry best practices, so that it is not improperly lost, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
13. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so we recommend that you review it periodically. Changes take effect once published on this page. In the event of material changes, we will provide appropriate notice.
14. Contact
Questions, requests or complaints regarding this policy may be sent to privacy@taxpayer.ie.
